1. The medical conditions that
mimic some or many of the symptoms of PMDD are:

- Hypothyroidism

2. PMDD is the most undiagnosed medical condition that affects women. It causes psychological symptoms so similar to bipolar type II and depression that often women are misdiagnosed with these disorders never knowing that their actual problem is PMDD.
3. PMDD is most often mistaken for typical PMS or PMT.
4. PMDD is recognized as a mood disorder, but its cause is due to menstruation.
5. The only way to completely stop PMDD is by stopping menstruation.
