Did you still "cycle" on oral contraceptives? Even the 4 periods per year type? I fear admitting it, but I did. It is common to have progesterone sensitivity, and react to BC, but this may be something different. Every 4 weeks, right on time, despite the Seasonale, PMDD was there. Add to that that I had "mild" irritation and nausea the rest of the month, I gave up on The Pill. But what was happening? Was I actually just obsessed with my menstrual cycles or something? Then one of my clients started on Jolessa for her PMDD. She had a 30% reduction of symptoms, but still, every 4 weeks, they were there. It is hard to know just how aware she was of what the pills were for, but since her pills were all the same color, and brought to her in a cup, it is hard to imagine she was counting her pills to decide when to be moody. As well notes from her other staff showed that she was clearly having issues at those specific times(she couldn't speak to tell us herself). Has anyone else had the same experience? Any theories? Were we perhaps still fertile and running our own hormones at the same time as the synthetic from the pill? Was I, *gasp* at a greater risk of conception?
