Ovulation is when your ovary releases an egg. This 'usually' occurs mid-cycle(near day 14 of a 28 day cycle) and 'may' be felt as a small sharp pain on one side of the pelvis. A woman is fertile as this time and may have more sexual interest or aggression. By definition, PMDD does not occur until after ovulation.
