Who knew PMDD would become a competitive sport?

I jest.  But really.  If you do a search of PMDD groups and pages on Facebook, you'll see that there are a LOT!  And most of these have popped up within the last few months!  If you check in a month, I'm sure there will be more!

And the websites?  No one will collaborate!  We've tried!  UK site, US site, AU site, this blog, that vlog, everywhere a blog blog.  Come on.  It should be a global thing.  We could do so much by working together.

But then again, internet saturation is a good thing if you want to spread awareness.  And we do have different types of PMDDing women... different religious beliefs, those who prefer one treatment over another, political differences...

And if you know a PMDDing woman, you know that arguments can become heated very quickly.  Feelings can be hurt, assumptions can be made, and all out wars can occur!

There has been so much drama in these groups that I'm really done and over with it.  I've seen people try to profit from or even exploit PMDD.  You can't even be sure who has true PMDD anymore!

It's almost like a Beta/VHS or a PC/Mac thing.  The little guys with serious PMDD and decent content get squashed by someone who has access to a lot of people in high places, or even the more prominent sites get tired of playing the game and bow out or even offer their help to the big guy.  And I know that at least one of the "big guys" doesn't have PMDD.  It's obvious to a lot of us.  But what can we do?

I'm telling you, having more people on board with ONE PMDD organization would be ideal.  Especially since the women have PMDD.  We get overwhelmed easily during our bad days.  Tagging in and out would be such a handy thing to be able to do.  But for some reason, no one can work together or the women feel like their ideas are better and they have to do it their way.  They have to create their own site and get more fans and likes than the others.  Like it's a damn competition.  This drama crap is exactly why women aren't taken more seriously.  I'm sorry if you disagree.

I'm over it.  I mainly do this for my daughter.  And this is why I will keep trekking.  Even after my surgery and after I no longer have PMDD, I will try to find better treatment for her.
